Until the release of Awakening six years later, Arctic Chameleon was my longest and most eclectic album to date at nearly 60 minutes in total.
Much of that is due to the album's title track, the 23-minute Arctic Chameleon which is one of the most ambitious pieces I have ever put together. It is primarily composed of two complementary musical themes which repeat and intertwine as they wander through various genres throughout the piece, from its solo fretless bass opening measures to hard rock to folk to its 30-piece orchestral climax.
The last track on the album, The Dream Stealer, was also my first-ever foray into abstract "noise music".
