By far my most abstract work to date (and by far my worst-selling), My Day On The Moon is a single, unbroken 49-minute ethereal and meditative experience inspired by a dream about being stranded on the moon. While almost entirely digital in its creation, it does contain a light scattering of interesting experiments with digitally manipulated bits of piano and orchestra from previous pieces I had composed.
It also contains a 4-minute section towards the end with a more traditional musical structure, so that it could be cut out and sold as a single alongside the full album. I also shot a low-budget music video to accompany the single at the time of its release:
Note - due to various restrictions at the time of publication, a few music stores sell this album split into two tracks.
